Founded in 1822 and incorporated in 1829, Liberty has a rich heritage. Much of Liberty's vitality derives from its historic character. Glimpses of Our Past seeks to provide a look back at the people, places, and events that shaped the town's legacy in hopes of inspiring further study and exploration. The first portion of this booklet is organized as a tour which starts at the historic Madison Miller House and follows an easy route to visit many additional sites in Liberty.
