The Mid-Continent Public Library, Genealogy & Local History Branch announces its Third Annual Family History Contest for Students, open to students in Grades Six through Twelve. All entries must be postmarked by October 31, 2006.

Winning essays will be printed by the library. Each winner will receive a copy of the printed work and a Certificate of Recognition. All contributions will be filed in the Family History Collection at the Genealogy & Local History Branch.
